Each day at Little Ramsies, we take a rest time. This occurs between noon and 2pm. Each child has their own cot or crib. They bring their own crib sheet, blanket, and other comforting items to relax. Most of our children take a nap during this time. It recharges everyone's batteries for a fun-filled afternoon!
This picture is of Ali and her sleeping buddy, Tooey who is a Dr. Seuss character. She snuggles up with him every rest time. Ali is sleeping on one of our cots. Each cot has it's own mattress.
Our ministry was the perfect addition to our dynamic school community which has helped families stay together in one trustworthy location. We offer top notch loving care for infants starting at 6 weeks through 3 year old children.

Hallo-FUN Week!
The Little Ramsies have already had a week of exciting arts and crafts! We made spooky ghosts with footprints, stuffed a bag full of newspaper and painted it orange to look like a pumpkin, and started painting wooden pictures of haunted houses and scarecrows. It's only Tuesday so there are so many more activities in store!!
The children are encouraged to bring in their Halloween costume on Thursday and Friday for our party. I will definitely be posting pictures of their costumes!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!
We have been doing our best to stay warm and dry at Little Ramsies. The kids continue to ask when they can go out to the playground. Today we made up a fun game of Hide and Seek with a twist. The toys were the hiders and the kids were the seekers. All but 1 of the kids were in the bathroom while that 1 child would hide the specific "hiding" toy. We yelled, "Ready or not, here we come!" and the children would run out of the bathroom to seek the hidden toy.
The very best part of all... the child who hid the toy usually found the toy and yelled "I FOUND IT!". That was the teachable moment of the game. The one who hides the toy can't find it too. They couldn't get enough of this game. It was so much fun!
This photo is of some of the children walking to the gym with Miss Anne to get some energy out! We always try to hold hands while walking through the parking lot. It is definitely a challenge for some.

Beautiful Weather
At Little Ramsies, we love to take advantage of this gorgeous Indiana fall weather! The children really enjoy playing on the playground equipment. They build mulch castles, play train conductor on the green bridge, and practice large motor skills like marching and galloping.
